I copied fields over to a new document I wanted to add to my collection. One of the fields was a conditional field, but I also copied the trigger field, the “If” field. However when I copied these two fields to a new document, the conditional field information is there, but the “trigger” fields are empty. So I would have to re-assign each trigger in order to benefit from the prior work I did setting this up.
For all the talk about Woodpecker saving time and allowing for more efficiency, once you try to do anything that is beyond a standard agreement that never changes, or the awful example every document assembly program uses - a will - you will be out of luck.
Perhaps I’ll be told that there’s something I did wrong to not have the conditional fields be fully brought over. That would be a problem in itself because it means the program is not as intuitive as is claimed. There is no excuse for being unable to copy over conditional fields fully. It is bad enough that after several years there isn’t the ability to have global fields. The price is close to $200 a month we should have these basic features by now.
