Formatting Signature Block

The signature block changes with each set of documents we do and is sometimes simple and sometimes complicated. What do others do here?

e.g. what if this was the signature block you were working with?

XYZ Properties, LLC
a ______ limited liability company

By: ABC Properties, Inc.
a _________ corporation
its general partner

By: ______________________
Joe Blow, Manager

It did not hold the formatting…the ABC Properties and the Signature line would be indented to the right

Hi, adeatherage -

I would recommend using Tables in the Word file to keep the indentation. I’ve attached a sample template for review.

The best, in this case, would be to create the word “By” and the signature line as two different fields in Woodpecker.

Then you can remove the Table borders by clicking on the Table, to activate the Table Design menu in the Word ribbon. Select Borders > No Border.

In the template, you can review how I created the conditional field, so it would insert the correct language based on the Corporation type.

If you need any further help with the signature line, feel free to reach out to me via email (; happy to help
