I’m getting started with woodpecker, and some of my documents involve multiple claimants. I want to be able to tell the template there are multiple claimants and automatically have it fill the document for “children,” “minors,” etc. I’m sure there’s a way to do this with conditional queries, but I don’t know excel commands…Help!
Hi AbbyF,
Thanks for reaching out!
in this case, build a single-select field with the number of children (this will be your IF statement for the grammar):
Next, create your conditional field and type in the THEN statement what exactly you want to see in the document if the conditions are met:
I’ve also attached the example template:Grammar- conditional fields.docx (20.2 KB)
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions!

Thanks, Eszter! I do have a followup question! Case. I have a lot of documents with PARTIES’ NAMES IN ALL CAPS in the case caption and then in the body of the motion the Parties are Capitalized Normally. Do I need to create two fields for each party name, one all caps and one normal? Is there a better way?
There are two ways to automatically capitalize text in your document, please read more here: Two Options to Automatically Capitalize Text in Your Document
