We often get asked what’s the best way to use Woodpecker for data entry and how this information can be stored and reused later.
Our “reuse client information aka Data Management” feature will group questionnaire responses by the questionnaire submitter’s email address, so you must use a unique email address each time, instead of your own email address.
By default, emails confirming questionnaire submissions are automatically sent to the questionnaire submitter. However, you can enable this option in the advanced settings so they won’t be notified.
This way, you will always have a unique identifier (customer’s email address) for questionnaire submission, and you can easily search for the data in your Dashboard and reuse this information on other templates.
Tip: If your client doesn’t have an email address, you can enter a unique identifier here, since we only use this submitter email address to group the responses in Data Management. (e.g. firstname.lastname@yourfirmname.com)
