Once the word document is populated, how do I remove the woodpecker fields if I don’t want them in version that I send to opposing counsel?

Fortunately, this is simple to do.
To sanitize a document, delete all of the fields and save the document as something new (so you don’t overwrite the one with all of the data in the Woodpecker fields).
You can find the Delete All Fields functionality in the drop-down menu on the Clear All button.
